An unexpected moment while driving through Southland on the way to the Catlins for a surf trip.
You’d expect the best photo to come from the destination a beautiful coastline with striking surf—but this ended up being my favourite from the whole trip, taken on a quiet stretch of rural dairy farmland along the way.
