About Us
We don’t go out to take photos.
We go out to live something worth remembering.
Our work is born deep in remote landscapes across New Zealand. Typically, these are not locations you simply arrive at. They’re earned. Reached by river, by hours in the bush, by commitment to the unknown.
The images are not the goal.
They are the byproduct.
The Story
Since I could walk, I was building, exploring, and chasing whatever felt like an adventure.
A missing patch of grass became a sandpit.
A pile of dirt became a bike jump
A tree became a hut
It was about making something.
About doing.
That instinct never left.
It evolved into a life outdoors, into exploration. Eventually, that path led to whitewater kayaking, where everything sharpened.
On a river, you don’t just move, you read.
You read currents, lines, and risk.
You learn to flow with something bigger than you.
That feeling, the pure, immersive flow state, became the foundation of everything.
Photography came later, almost accidentally.
While living in Canada, just before COVID, I picked up a camera. At the time, it was simple. I wanted better images of kayaking than what action cams could offer.
But it quickly became something more.
Reading a river and reading light are not so different.
Both require patience, awareness, and timing.
Both demand presence.
Over time, the camera became another way of translating that experience, not staging it, not chasing it, but recognizing it when it happens.
I don’t go out looking for photos.
I stay out long enough for them to find me.
The Work
Every print represents a real moment untouched, unstaged, and earned through time spent in wild places.
Remote valleys. Glacial rivers. Untouched coastlines.
Places where access is part of the story.
These are not just landscapes.
They are lived experiences.
